About Us

CDP was established in 2006 as a mechanical and electrical building services consultancy to provide a full range of professional design services.

 

Using our practical skills and installation knowledge we carry out detailed designs and drawings specialising on design & build projects. We work from either an outline brief or from blank sheets of paper. Each method has its different approach, but what does not change is our dedication and enthusiasm to do the best we can for our client and the project team as a whole.

 

CDP is based in Holbury, Southampton. Our principles have remained the same throughout; to provide innovative cost effective design solutions whilst building strong client relationships and ensuring our clients aspirations are fulfilled.

 

Colin Griffiths - Director

Colin is the founding director of CDP and has worked in the building services industry since leaving school. He started as an apprentice electrician and graduated to approved electrician. Colin's practical background is one of the reasons to why CDP work so closely with contractors and clients where detailed design is required. He has a very varied career spanning contracting and consultancy, as well as working on detailed coordination projects overseas for many years.

Our Team

We have been fortunate enough to have built a fantastic team of designers, drafting technicians and support staff. These are headed by Neil England who's role is to deliver our projects on time, whilst meeting the client aspirations. The team are dedicated to providing a very efficient, professional and honest service to ensure any questions you may have are answered.
